I didn't mean to direct that at you specifically. Heck the worst that happens is a CTD and not like that doesn't happen all the time when trying to keep a modlist stable unless you keep it small, easy enough to keep a back up of everything.

That's 66 mods enabled so don't see why it's a big deal once what you need is updated just, let steam update the game go through re-do your mods and update as needed and there ya go. Played another 10 hours with it rolled back haven't had an issue with anything. Steam no longer offers an option to completely disable updates, so setting the steam client offline would let you play your game in its current state without being forced to update.
